Проведение отладки необходимо на любых продуктах, начиная браузерами и заканчивая прогрессивными веб-приложениями. Это стало причиной для добавления возможности подключения инструментов к вариантам движка EdgeHTML для Bing, MSN, Xbox и других сервисов. Отладку можно проводить даже на удаленных устройствах, подключенных к одной сети или через USB-кабель. Для этого нужно зайти в настройки и активировать «Device Portal».
Также в приложение внедрен Edge DevTools Protocol для согласования с протоколом Chrome DevTools. Он добавляет поддержку инструментов VS, VS Code и Sonarwhal.
Microsoft намерена улучшать приложение, основываясь на отзывах. Чтобы связаться с разработчиками, нужно нажать на смайлик в правом верхнем углу окна.
