Грядущее обновление ОС Android 9 запретит шпионским программам следить за пользователями с помощью камеры и микрофона устройства.
Большое количество вредоносных и шпионских программ злоупотребляли отсутствием контроля над доступом к данным функциям течение нескольких лет. Грядущее нововведение поможет бороться с незаконным шпионским ПО и сбором личной информации без ведома пользователя.
Обновления запланировано на 2018 год. Ожидается, что Google представит его на ежегодной конференции Google I/O.
Судя по опубликованной информации, следующие версии операционной системы начнут присваивать идентификатор каждом из приложений на устройстве. Доступ к камере и микрофону для программ, работающих в фоновом режиме, будет заблокирован. Для того, чтобы воспользоваться ими, приложение будет вынужден отразиться поверх других, а также показать пользователю сообщение о активный режим. Итак, шпионить за пользователем без его ведома станет невозможно.
Разработчики и рядовые пользователи смогут принять участие в бета-тестировании Android 9 в мае 2018 года. Стабильная версия системы ожидается в конце августа — начале сентября.
